InfoWar Beta
I’ve never seen this site before, InfoWar (not to be confused with InfoWar Monitor). The About page merely says:
This site is dedicated to tracking open source stories relating to the full-spectrum of information warfare, information security, and critical infrastructure protection. This site is currently in Beta.
That’s it. The site promises to provide content under the headings of cybersecurity, cyberthreats, cybercrime, cyberattack, and cyberconflict. I’m always a bit suspicious of sites whose banner consists mainly of Google Ads. But a little digging around on Whois.net shows that the domain name is registered to none other than Winn Schwartau (mentioned here before), self-confessed ‘Author. Speaker. Thinker’ and ‘one of the world’s top experts on security, privacy, infowar, cyber-terrorism and related topics.’ Let’s see how this pans out …

Infowar.com was a leading security forum until an year ago when all of a sudden it collapsed. From then, there are no clues about the state of the site which according to me’s struggling to survive.I still remember the Guy “Nitewolf”(then Admin) who was very knowledgeable and other infowar members! Here,on the new site(Beta Version),i think there are some problems with the Registration Page Captcha, regarding which i mailed the admin several times, only to get no response.
Hope the old Infowar to come alive someday!
Yeah, it would be interesting to see more action there. This has happened with another site, iwar.org.uk, where not a lot seems to be going on.
