Thought you’d be all over the #Mumbai Twitter story by now. There’s a particularly persistent impression that the attachers were checking various new media sources to follow the movements of the police.

A story on Forbes.com mentions this, if you can pick it apart from all the “Web 2.0 grew up today” puff that usually follows such events.

Amy Gahran reckons she’s tracked down the source of the rumour, and has a few more things to say besides.

Don’t have enough time to follow the story well – plenty of other people are though, so I’m relying on them to sort the wheat from the chaff.
